We charge fees for consulting projects and advisory sessions. This policy explains cancellations, refunds, and the statutory context for distance contracts in Taiwan.
Distance-selling context
For services booked remotely, the Consumer Protection Act provides a seven-day withdrawal period (七日猶豫期) for applicable distance contracts unless an exception applies. Proposed, pending business confirmation: we align commercial practice with that baseline where the law treats the arrangement as a distance sale.
Before work starts
If you cancel a signed engagement before we begin billable work, prepaid amounts for unused scheduled time are refunded within fourteen business days to the original payment method, minus any third-party costs already incurred on your behalf with your approval.
After work has started
Fees for sessions already delivered or milestones accepted are non-refundable. Partial refunds for unused prepaid blocks may be offered at our discretion when you cancel with reasonable notice and no deliverables were due in that block.
Services already rendered
Where you requested immediate performance of advisory work and sessions were delivered with your agreement, statutory withdrawal may not apply to the portion already consumed—consistent with common exceptions for services rendered with consent.
Rescheduling
Advisory sessions may be rescheduled once with at least forty-eight hours’ notice. Late cancellations may forfeit that session fee.
How to request a refund
Email info@corestream.digital with your name, engagement reference, and reason. We respond within five business days.
Disputes
We aim to resolve billing concerns directly. You may also contact consumer protection authorities in Taiwan if you believe your statutory rights were not respected.
